All About my Piercings

I first started my love affair with piercings in March of last year.
As most people can relate, the extent of my piercings were the first lobes. It was only after a friend of mine made the desicion to get her belly pierced that I dove into the world of piercing. I saw her get it done and thought, 'Wow, that looks so cool, I've got to get one too!'.
Hers was so simple; no infections or hassles included and I though that was how they all were.

Oh, how wrong I was.

Naively, within the next two weeks I had mine done too. To this day it was one of the most painful piercings I have had done, yet that wasn't the worst part. Over the coming months, I went through about 50 bandaids, 6 doctors visits and about 5 lots of anti-biotics. Not to mention countless nights in pain. I still remember the last doctor saying that if it got infected again I would have to take it out. THANKFULLY, after I had finished the last round of anti-biotics it was my last, due to extreme care and caution. This was a year afterwards.

I am NOT in anyway encouraging this, I am just sharing what I went through. If I had to do it again I just wouldn't, but I can't deny how much I still love my belly piercing - hmm mabye we developed a bond throughout it all. The healed piercing is what made me want to get more.

To count, I currently have 5 piercings. I have my first and second lobes pierced, helix, tragus and belly. I am hoping I can continue my collection with my nose, and lip piercing after I leave school. Unfortunately, my school is ridiculously strict when it comes to any form of individuality or anything interesting so I have to wait. The only reason I can have all my ear piercings is due to some handy retainers and hairstyles.

Let me know your piercing stories in the comments below!
